Best network for reliability in London
Unsurprisingly, London has the highest scores for network reliability across providers, with all four providers scoring over 97 out of 100.
EE is the best network for reliability, receiving a RootScore of 99, although the other three major networks (O2, Three and Vodafone) were not far behind.
Vodafone scored 98.1 with O2 and Three scoring 97.2.

Best network for download speeds in London
Looking at the average speeds users in London experience, EE far outshines it competition with a score of 93.9. Vodafone was the only network to come close with a RootScore of 92.5.
O2 and Three really fall behind here, scoring 82.6 and 83.2 respectively.
It is clear that O2 and Three have a lot of work to do to rival EE for download speeds, with 5G round the corner.
Our analysis
The information used in this analysis comes from a regular collaboration between Which? and coverage experts RootMetrics, and is based on measurements taken from 1,994 miles of driving London roads and 97 locations.
Using these measurements, we're able to give a definitive account of the real mobile phone user experience using RootScores. A RootScore is a simple way to translate all the data gathered into clear and easy-to understand marks of performance and is scaled from 0-100. The higher the score, the better.
