Devolo Home Control Smoke Detector review

Don't Buy this smoke alarm – it failed to sound in two of our fire detection tests

One of the two smart Devolo Home Control Smoke Detector models we tested failed to sound in our flaming plastics and solvents fire tests.

The Devolo passed our other tests, but based on the two fire test failures we saw in our lab, we have to make it a Don’t Buy. Devolo told us its detector was tested by Trading Standards to clauses from the smoke alarms standard in November 2017, the product passed the tests and was rated as being safe.
