Avon Sun+ Multi Protection Moisturising Sun Lotion SPF30 review

Product alert

Don’t buy this sun cream – it failed our SPF tests.

When we tested this sun cream in 2017, it failed our SPF tests twice. We don’t think you can rely on it to stay protected in the sun.

When we alerted Avon to our findings, it told us it was confident in its own testing which showed the lotion to offer SPF30. It said its testing followed internationally recognised protocols and were conducted by independent external laboratories.

Avon has since told us it intends to reformulate the product. Until this has been done, we encourage you to use a product that passed our tests.
