The pricier end of LG's TV line-up in 2018 isn't entirely occupied by OLEDs, and there are still big budget LCD displays to be had. The Super UHD 65-inch 65SK9500PLA is packed with much of the same technology you'll find in LG's OLED, including support for four HDR formats. HDR, when done right, boosts contrast and detail in bright and dark scenes, but are four different versions of the same technology really necessary, or is it marketing bluster to get people excited about the 4K 65SK9500PLA and justify its high price tag?
