Expert review

It’s a historic day as we review the first 48-inch OLED TV (alongside Sony’s model). But is the OLED48CX5LC, from 2020, as good as LG’s larger models which have impressed us so much in recent years? It should be as the technology is proven and LG’s track record is excellent. However. there are no guarantees in the TV game, even for OLEDs. Here’s our review.

What's included:
  • Pros and cons
  • What is it?
  • What’s the picture quality like?
  • What about the sound?
  • What’s it like to use?
  • Is there anything else I should know?
  • Is LG a good TV brand?
  • Should I buy it?
