Samsung QE43Q65T review
Test scoreShow Context
- 43-inches
- QLED
- 4K Ultra-HD
High-end 43-inch TVs are a real rarity in 2020, but we have one here (sort of). The QE43Q65T (sometimes called the QE43Q65TAUXXU) is a QLED, which means it has a more advanced display than LCD TVs, but it’s one of the cheapest QLEDs, which, thanks the expansion of Samsung’s QLED line-up, means it’s effectively mid-range. QLEDs have seriously impressed us in the past, so does that quality filter down to these cheaper models? Let’s see.
- Pros and cons
- What is it?
- What’s the picture quality like?
- HD looks pretty good, again there’s plenty of clarity and sharpness, but the colours underwhelm despite being natural. Balance is good, and it’s nice to see no one hue dominating, but they need to wow you, too. They should be bright and sumptuous like garden in full bloom, but on the Q65T they are a touch dowdy.
- What about the sound?
- What’s it like to use?
- Is there anything else I should know?
- Should I buy it?
