Samsung QE55Q6FN review
Test score %
- 4K Ultra-HD
If the very similar acronyms didn't give it away, QLED is Samsung's answer to OLED TVs. Typically they go for a similar price, but the QE55Q6FN (sometimes called the QE55Q6FNATXXU) is a good deal cheaper than the 55-inch OLEDs released by LG, Panasonic and Sony. Does that mean it's inferior to them or is it an excellent, low-cost alternative? It's got many of the features of pricier QLED sets, including ambient mode - which allows the TV's screen to mimic the wall behind it, perfect for helping the big screen blend in - but if high-end LCD TVs and OLEDs from rival brands are more watchable, then the Q6FN is in danger of being lost in no man's land between the two.
