Sony knows how to make a good TV. We've tested some spectacular models from Sony as recently as 2018, but many of its TVs fall short of greatness and it's often the truly affordable models. It's 2019 though and a clean slate for Sony. The 49-inch KD49XG8305BU has every chance to match or beat similar sets from its arch-rivals. Will familiar issues resurface or is this a return to form?
