Expert review

As Sony’s most high-end 4K LCD TV, we have the highest of hopes for the quality of the 49-inch KD-49XH9505BU (also known as the KD49XH9505BU). The best picture tech at Sony’s disposal is built in, including the X1 Ultimate picture processor, which is responsible for making accurate vivid colours and making content at all resolutions look as crisp as possible. It’s often sound where Sony’s TVs struggle though, so does this top-tier set have top-tier speakers? We sure hope so.

What's included:
  • Pros and cons
  • What is it?
  • What’s the picture quality like?
  • What about the sound?
  • What’s it like to use?
  • Is there anything else I should know?
  • Is Sony a good TV brand?
  • Should I buy it?
