Sony KDL50WF663BU review

Reviewed

Most new TVs are 4K, but you'll still find a few Full HD models in the dark corners of a brand's line-up, and the 50-inch KDL50WF663BU is one of Sony's. Unusually, although it's not 4K, HDR is still on the table. Is there any point in the contrast-boosting technology that normally goes hand in hand with Ultra HD displays? And does this TV impress enough with its HD picture to make up for its lack of 4K?
