Elica NIKOLATESLA PRIME BL/A/83 review

Product alert

Our testing found that two samples of this product failed the requirements that are designed to keep you safe in case of a fire in your kitchen.

A component in this venting hob didn’t meet the industry standards for safety when it was exposed to a real flame in our test lab, making it a fire hazard.

Elica informed us that venting hobs manufactured from 21st February 2022 have a modified component. We haven’t tested this modified component.

Elica told us, ‘Product safety is our top priority and any notification of a possible risk is investigated extremely thoroughly.

Our products have been rigorously tested by highly regarded independent testing authorities. Based on these and our own internal testing we are satisfied that our products are safe. Nonetheless, we have been happy to modify the component in question and make it available free of charge to any existing customer who contacts us at info@drcookerhoods.co.uk
