  • USED PRICE: From £1,725

The Chevrolet Kalos, sold 2005-2008 (and for two years before that as a Daewoo) is now a cheap secondhand buy. It's easy to drive and park - it's notably narrow, useful for nipping around town - and came with 1.2- or 1.4-litre petrol engines. Not the most stylish of superminis, but a good no-frills runaround? Check out the full Which? verdict.

New Chevrolet Kalos reviews

The Kalos was replaced by the Chevrolet Aveo in 2008 and is no longer on sale new.

Used Chevrolet Kalos reviews

The Chevrolet Kalos is now cheap secondhand, and you needn't pay more than £2000 - tops - for an early Daewoo-badged example with low mileage. Many have been privately-owned by careful older motorists who have dutifully followed the recommended service and maintenance schedules. It's an obsolete car, however, so we wouldn't recommend spending much on one.
