How to complain about NHS services Giving the NHS feedback
Feedback in writing
Everyone has the right to give the NHS feedback.
Anyone can share their views about NHS services – the NHS pledges to learn lessons from all comments they receive and to use these to improve services.
Giving the NHS positive feedback, is just as important as letting them know your complaints, as these comments tell NHS organisations what factors are contributing to a good experience for patients.
You can leave anonymous or open feedback on Patient Opinion, a website that has been set up for patients to share their experiences with others and to give feedback to the NHS.
Or you can give feedback directly by writing to your healthcare provider. Remember to state in your letter if you would like a response.
