Candy launches combined oven and dishwasherTrio models have oven, grill, dishwasher and hob
24 July 2009
Candy has launched two multi-purpose appliances which combine a dishwasher with an oven and hob.
The Trios cram a dishwasher, oven and hob into the 60cm space of a freestanding cooker for around £750 or, with a ceramic hob, around £900. Where space is at a premium, having two units in one could be invaluable.

Oven and dishwasher
Both appliances feature a 39 litre fan oven – a bit bigger than the smaller oven in a freestanding double – as well as grill, and the oven has an A rating for energy efficiency.
The dishwasher can wash six place settings and has a 32-minute rapid wash. It's B-rated for energy, and wash and drying efficiency. It’s worth bearing in mind the tips in our guide to buying a dishwasher, including our video and guide on how to be greener with your dishwasher.
The Trio 501/1 - the cheaper model with a gas hob - features a range of burners. The more expensive ceramic hob will be easier to clean. Full specifications are on the Candy website.
Candy machines
Although one Candy washing machine is a Best Buy, the brand does not have a Best Buy dishwasher, oven or freestanding cooker.
