  • NEW PRICE: £15,125 - £26,300
  • USED PRICE: From £11,495

The Skoda Yeti is a compact crossover available with front- or four-wheel drive, the latter with good off-road ability. It's essentially a family car rival for the Nissan Qashqai and it delivers low running costs and good all-round versatility.

Latest model: Skoda Yeti (2009-)

Pros and cons

  • Pro: Big boot, good to drive, cheap to run
  • Con: Uncomfortable rear seats, stability control not standard on all models

New Skoda Yeti reviews

The Skoda Yeti crossover is a solid and robust family car with heaps of practicality - the rear seats fold, flip or can be removed entirely.

While generally good value, high-spec versions can become pricey, so don’t get carried away. Opt for stability control - it's not standard-fit, as it should be.

The Yeti is a clever little SUV which you may well spot up a mountain (if you tick the 4x4 option anyway). A sensible rival to Honda's CR-V, amongst others.

Used Skoda Yeti reviews

Skoda dealers have ex-demo and very low mileage examples at worthwhile savings. The Skoda Yeti should hold its value well, especially in diesel form. Owners tend to hang on to their cars as they rate them so highly.
