New Volkswagen Golf reviews
The Volkswagen Golf Mk6 is a more polished version of the Mk5, with Volkswagen concentrating on rectifying the few issues the previous car had. Better door seals have cancelled out noise inside, and a new electronic stability control system (ECS) is an improvement on the Mk5 Golf system. Thicker rear pillars have restricted rearward visibility. The VW Golf engine range is one of the widest available, and there is a choice of three and five-door hatchbacks and an estate option.

Used Volkswagen Golf reviews
The popularity of the Volkswagen Golf is proven in its resale prices. A used Golf holds its value remarkably well compared to rival mass-market cars, with diesel models in high demand due to the better economic return compared to a petrol engine. The 1.6 TDI BlueMotion is the most frugal option for the VW Golf Mk6, with a return of 73.4mpg.
