Independent double glazing firms

The vast majority of Which? members have used small independent companies rather than big brands. One member, commenting on a local firm, said: ‘Local firms rely on word of mouth for their reputation and in a small town they cannot afford to let this slip.’

How Which? rates double glazing companies

In 2012 we asked 2,562 Which? members questions about their experience of double glazing installation and companies. All had double glazing installed in the last five years with either a local/independent firm or a big name such as Anglian, Everest, Safestyle or Zenith Staybrite. 

We asked them to rate the company they used for various aspects of their experience such as quotation process and customer service.

The table above reveals satisfaction ratings and customer scores for the brands covered by our survey.
