Steam irons: Compare features & prices Philips GC4870 Azur review http://www.which.co.uk/home-and-garden/home-appliances/reviews/steam-irons/philips-gc4870-azur/review/
The Philips GC4870 Azur comes with an impressive spec, including Philips' Ionic Deepsteam technology. This produces small steam particles that it claims penetrate deeper into fabric, helping to remove tough creases. It also benefits from a steam tip soleplate that lets you steam harder to reach spots. Philips steam irons sometimes do well in our tests - we find out if this top-of-the-range model, which is 'designed for perfection', lives up to the hype in our rigorous lab tests.

Manufacturers claimed water capacity. If no capacity is claimed we list our measured capacity.
Cord length (m)
Cord length from plug to iron. For steam generators this is the length of the cord from the plug to the tank.
Weight of iron (kg)
For steam irons this is the weight of the iron with a full tank of water. For generators it's the weight of just the iron, not the water tank.
This is a safety feature that switches an iron off automatically if it's left unattended for a period of time.
Irons with a 'yes' have anti-calcium cartridges that will need to be replaced periodically.
