LG’s QNED ranges have more display features than you can shake a remote at, including quantum dots, nanocells and mini LEDs. They sound like something Geordi La Forge should be explaining to Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek, but TV tech has long had wacky names. What we care is whether all these things do what they were designed to do: boost colour, broaden contrast and give the screen more control over how the screen is lit.
