A new law - the Consumer Rights Directive – put a stop to pricey 084 and 087 customer helplines.Thanks to your support, the Government extended the ban to travel companies; the Cabinet Office called on public bodies to ditch them too; and the financial regulator is bringing the banks and insurers into line too.
