The Sony Vaio is designed as the basic all-rounder of the Vaio family, offering decent everyday performance and slightly better graphics performance than you might find on other laptops this price. Sony's secret is that it uses an AMD Fusion processor instead of an Intel CPU, allowing the Vaio to deliver decent speeds for less expense. We wanted to see whether this strategy worked.
