PVRs: Compare features & prices Echostar HDS-600RS review

The Echostar HDS-600RS Freesat PVR is a high-definition (HD) box that will tune into and record the range of standard and HD channels on offer from Freesat - though you'll need an HD-ready TV to view the latter. It's a twin tuner PVR box with a large hard disk (500GB), and if you have a broadband connection, you can access the BBC iPlayer and catch up on programmes you've missed. It also comes with a feature, known as SlingLoaded, that lets you watch your TV remotely and control it from a PC, MAC or suitable mobile device - either over the internet or via a broadband mobile network. It's certainly packed full of features, but does it deliver where it matters, and is it easy to use?
