Which? welcomes the opportunity to respond to the Phase 1 consultation on the reform of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (CCA).
The CCA is a cornerstone of consumer protection in the UK credit market, and while we agree that reform is necessary to modernise the regime, we have significant concerns that the current proposals risk undermining vital protections that consumers rely on.
