Inspiration Computers has been named Which? Trusted Trader of the Year at the prestigious 2022 Which? Awards for its outstanding dedication to consumers and the local community.  Inspiration Computers, based  in Kirkheaton, West Yorkshire, has been announced as the Trusted Trader of the Year at the 2022 Which? Awards, seeing off competition from fellow category finalists  SD Roofing based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire and Easystep Stairlift based in Markfield, Leicestershire. The Kirkheaton based business, which has been previously crowned as the Which? Trusted Trader of the month two years in a row in 2020 and 2021, was commended for its outstanding customer service as well as its dedication to various charitable endeavours. Inspiration Computers really stood out with the judges, with the company's work in their immediate and wider community being a highlight.  Support has included sponsoring their local cricket club, Kirkheaton,  and donating and refurbishing computers for the charity Teacher4Zambia. As well as having a prominent role in their community, the husband and wife team of Alison and Lee Grant pride themselves in "offering great technical support, up to the minute knowledge and good customer service, but without being too geeky or full of jargon."  The company has 175 reviews at five stars complete with positive testimonials. Co-owner Alison is also an advocate for attracting young female talent to the industry via an annual apprenticeship programme.
Managing Director of Trusted Traders, Raj Kakar-Clayton, said:  "The Which? Trusted Trader Award takes into account customer service, reviews engagement and community impact, and we felt Inspiration Computers ticked all the boxes.  "Demonstrating it is working to make things better for consumers, Inspiration Computers is an exemplary ambassador for Which?, going over and beyond for its customers, local and wider community. "Which? also recognises its efforts in nurturing tomorrow's talent by encouraging young women to get into an industry where there is a deficit of female professionals."  The Which? Awards have been running since 2007, recognising best practice in products and services, ranging from travel to electrical appliances. This year's ceremony took place at One Marylebone on Thursday 19th May - the award night's first in-person event since 2019.
