Which? responds to a new report suggesting households could save thousands through clean technologies

1 min read

Sue Davies, Which? Head of Consumer Rights Policy, said:

"These findings echo our research which has found time and time again that cost is the biggest barrier stopping consumers from taking up clean technologies such as heat pumps, solar panels and electric vehicles.

"To meet its net zero goals, the government needs to ensure the upfront costs of these technologies are more affordable and people have access to the information and independent advice they need to make the switch. Improving the availability and experience of public charge points for electric vehicles is also essential if the government wants to encourage people to switch from petrol cars.”
