Which? responds to ONS' latest Consumer Price Index for November
Rocio Concha, Which? Director of Policy and Advocacy, said:
"This data clearly shows what many consumers have been experiencing - that prices for many everyday essentials, food and energy in particular, have been at record highs for months. "With millions of households facing higher energy bills when the energy price guarantee becomes less generous from April, these levels of inflation will be worrying for many people trying to make ends meet. "Companies are also under inflationary pressure but businesses in essential sectors, such as supermarkets, energy and telecoms, can make life easier by ensuring customers can easily find the best deals for their budget, and providing extra support to those who need it."
