Which? responds to the news that cash usage has grown for the first time in a decade

Jenny Ross, Which? Money Editor, said:
"For millions of people across the UK, cash remains a vital lifeline, but many struggle to access it due to the drastic amount of bank branch closures and the reduction in the number of free cash machines in recent years.
"It's right that the government has committed to guaranteeing a minimum level of free cash access through its Financial Services and Markets Act. It must now ensure these hard fought protections are rolled out as soon as possible, so that consumers are able to access cash to help them navigate the worst cost of living crisis in decades."
