The Hisense 50A7NQTUK is a 50-inch QLED with a few more features – onboard video recorder, advanced HDR formats – than you’d expect from a TV you can buy at this price. That’s a good start, but doesn’t necessarily translate into a fantastic 4K screen or richness and clarity from the speakers. Picture quality tests include broadcast 1080i high-definition TV, Freeview, Freeview HD, viewing angle and the stability of motion in fast action scenes. We also test for 4K Ultra HD and HDR if the TV can support these pictures.
