The 55-inch 55A85N is comfortably one of the cheapest OLEDs you can get. Even smaller models from other brands cost more. We’re used to Hisense undercutting the competition, and in recent years it’s managed to keep quality high and costs down with some of its TVs. The competition with OLEDs is fierce though, and the 55A85N will need to be exceptional. Read our review to see if it’s good enough.

Picture quality tests include broadcast 1080i high-definition TV, Freeview, Freeview HD, viewing angle and the stability of motion in fast action scenes. We also test for 4K Ultra HD and HDR if the TV can support these pictures.
