Brother printer ranges

Brother MFC-J6910DW

The Brother MFC-J6910DW

All-in-one machines

Brother's ranges include machines that scan, copy, print and fax in the shape of its MFC devices, while machines that print, copy and scan are tagged DCP. In both cases, a 'J' suffix means the printer is an inkjet rather than a laser, a 'W' means the devices can print wirelessly, while a 'D' means it can automatically print on both sides of your paper.

HL range

Brother HL range (short for high-speed laser) refers to printers that simply print and have no ability to copy or scan and includes both colour and mono models, with colour machines tagged with a 'C' at the end of the model number.
