Laptops: Compare features & prices HP Pavilion dv7 review
HP is one of a number of manufacturers to use AMD's chips instead of Intel processors, the idea usually being to squeeze in higher-speed components while keeping the price low. As a result, the Pavilion dv7 squeezes in a fast triple-core Phenom P820 processor, running at 1.8GHz combined with an ATi Mobility Radeon HD5470 graphics chip, 4GB of RAM and a 17.3in screen for a reasonable cost.
