Our heads of research regularly consult with these panel members to ensure our research methodologies and outputs are continually strengthened, so we continue to deliver best in class recommendations to our members.

Nick Bonney
Nick is the founder of award-winning research consultancy, Deep Blue Thinking. He has more than thirty years’ experience in research and is a Fellow of the Market Research Society. Prior to founding Deep Blue Thinking, Nick was MD at ABA Research and led the research and insight functions at Orange, EE and The National Lottery. Outside of his research activities, Nick also serves as an advisor for conservation charity, The Manta Trust.
Rachael Buchanan
Rachael is a multi award winning journalist. She spent two decades at BBC News where she produced exclusives across medicine, nature, climate change, physics, space and earth science. Now working as a freelancer, Rachael produces videos and podcasts for everyone from research organisations to Oxford colleges to help them communicate their stories to a range of audiences.
Jane Rome
Jane is managing director at Insight Strategy Limited, a retail management consultancy specialising in consumer and market research for the retail sector. She was also director of corporate relations and market research for The Arcadia Group. Jane has a wealth of experience in understanding consumer attitudes and behaviours, charity mentor and is also a judge for the Young Enterprise Scheme.
Richard Sibbick
Richard is a chartered mechanical engineer, and senior category leader at Dow Silicones UK Limited. Throughout his career within the Dow group he has held a range of leadership roles with global responsibility in manufacturing, research and development, supply chain, sales and purchasing. He is also a fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Richard has held trustee, council, audit and risk committee and investigation panel positions. Richard joined the Which? Council in November 2019 which he still sits on alongside being a member of our research panel.
