How do I cancel my membership?

Cancelling by phone

Simply call our member services centre on 029 2267 0000. We’re available from 8.30am to 6pm on Monday to Friday and from 9am to 1pm on Saturday. Make sure to have your membership number handy. If we ask you to key in your membership number over the phone, leave out the first character.

Cancelling by email

Simply email which@which.co.uk and we’ll do our best to respond within three working days. So we can help you more quickly, make sure to include your membership number and the service you would like to cancel (for example, ‘Which? Magazine’).

Cancelling by post

Write to us at our member service centre. As with email, make sure to include your membership number and the service you would like to cancel (for example, ‘Which? Magazine)

Introductory offer period

With our ‘Full Access’ membership package, you'll get access to our online reviews and will also receive the Which? Magazine. The regular price for this package is £9.99 per month, but with our introductory offer, you'll pay just £5 for the first month, so you can decide if this option is the right one for your needs.  

If you’re taking advantage of this offer, you’ll pay in full for the first month in advance (£5). Similarly, when your offer period ends and your membership continues as a monthly subscription, we will collect your payment of £9.99 each month in advance. Full details of the cost and your payment dates will be provided to you during the registration process.

How do I gift a subscription to someone else?

You can buy any of our memberships as a gift for someone else, just give our customer service centre a call on 029 2267 0000. Our team is available from 8.30am to 6pm on Monday to Friday and from 9am to 1pm on Saturday.

Either you or the gift recipient can cancel the gift membership at any time. Simply follow the instructions in the ‘Cancelling your membership’ section of the Help Centre.

Should you or the gift recipient wish to continue the Which? membership after the gift membership has ended please get in touch on the above details.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?

Each email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking this will update our records and we will no longer send you email newsletters.

Why has the Which? subscription changed?

We regularly review the way our memberships work, including how customers are able to try our products. We recently completed extensive research, which suggested that customers would like more choice when taking out a Which? subscription. Based on the findings, we have created a new membership offering to provide new members with more flexibility.

What is my membership number?

You can find your membership number in the 'Welcome' pack issued to you when you joined. Alternatively, if you get Which? magazines as part of your membership, you can find the number on the letter that comes with it. The number is usually a letter followed by 9 digits, eg H123456789.

You can also view your Which? membership number within the 'My details' section of your account.

  2. Click 'My account', then click 'View account'
  3. Click ‘My details’ 
  4. Your membership number will be displayed at the top of the page.
