Dyson is recalling its Dyson Hot and Hot+Cool heaters due to a potential fire risk.

After four reports of a short-circuit inside the machines, Dyson is recalling all of the heaters globally and will fix the fault in each one.

All Dyson Hot heaters (AM04) and Dyson Hot+Cool heaters (AM05) are affected regardless of the colour, although according to Dyson, no instances of personal injury or damage to property have been reported.

Dyson's Air Multiplier cooling fans (models AM01, AM02, AM03, AM06, AM07 and AM08) are not affected.

What to do if you have a Dyson Hot or Hot+Cool heater?

The company has advised owners to immediately stop using their Dyson Hot or Hot+Cool heater and unplug it.

Dyson has asked owners to visit the Dyson recall site where you can enter your heater's serial number to check if your machine is affected.You can find the serial number on the underside of your Dyson Hot or Hot+Cool heater.

If your product is affected, the company will send you a box so you can send the heater to them to be repaired.

Once repaired your heater will be serviced and delivered back to you with a new two year guarantee covering parts and labour. The cost of postage and fixing will be covered by Dyson.
