This dashboard displays data from our Consumer Insight tracker, a monthly poll with around 2,000 UK adults per month. Our tracker has been running since 2012.

Data on consumer wellbeing is collected quarterly. Consumers are asked the extent to which they are satisfied or dissatisfied with different aspects of their life and household finances, and the direction of the UK at large. Explore the data at a headline level and among different demographic groups below.

Approximately 2,000 respondents per wave. UK level data are weighted to represent the adult population of the UK by age, gender, region, social grade, working status and housing tenure. Download the underlying data here.

How satisfied or dissatisfied are you with each of the following at the moment? Very satisfied, Fairly satisfied, Neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, Fairly dissatisfied, Very dissatisfied, Don’t know, Prefer not to say. 

Net satisfaction is calculated by adding the proportion of respondents that are Very satisfied or Fairly satisfied and subtracting the proportion of respondents that are Fairly dissatisfied or Very dissatisfied.
