Which? comments on the news that Viagogo ads have been banned for implying tickets are valid for Taylor Swift Eras Tour

Lisa Webb, Which? Consumer Law Expert, said:
"This latest ASA ruling shows why music fans should take claims made by secondary ticket sellers with a pinch of salt.
“Which? has repeatedly exposed some secondary ticket operators reselling tickets without providing clear information or warning about the risk that people could be turned away at the door.2
"Swifties should be wary of buying tickets from secondary ticketing sites, as your rights can be significantly reduced if something goes wrong. There’s no guarantee that you’ll get your tickets or entry for a resale ticket, leaving you out of pocket. We'd recommend fans use the official partner sites - Ticketmaster and AXS - to look for and purchase resale tickets."
