Lisa Webb, Which? Consumer Law Expert, said:

"Fraudsters are always on the lookout for new ways to part people from their hard-earned cash and unfortunately, tickets for popular concerts, like Oasis, are no exception.

"Resale tickets should only be listed on the official resale platforms, Twickets or Ticketmaster Fan-to-Fan exchange, and at no more than the price that was paid (its face value plus booking fees) originally. Don't be tempted to buy resale tickets from unofficial platforms or on social media as you could be at risk of being scammed and even if they are genuine, event organisers have said any tickets sold outside the official platforms will be invalidated.

"If you or a loved one are targeted by a scammer, then contact your bank immediately and report it to Action Fraud or Police Scotland.”
