The Bravia Theatre Bar 5 is one of Sony’s more basic soundbars for 2026. It’s a stereo bar, with a centre speaker for clearer voices, as well as a wireless subwoofer for bass. It’s relatively no-frills, so there’s no wi-fi or surround-sound speakers, but that won’t matter if it dramatically improves your TV sound. Will the fact this entry-level bar costs more than its rivals hurt it, or does it sound good enough to justify the price? Read our review to find out.
