Lindam Easy Fit Plus Deluxe Safety Gate review
The sample of the stair gate we tested failed a key safety test that checks whether a gate is strong enough to withstand repeated pushing and pulling over time.
It became dislodged and could mean a child’s safety is at risk, which is why we’ve made it a Don’t Buy.
Munchkin, the company that owns Lindam, told us it is not aware of any evidence supporting our allegations. Munchkin said it has reviewed and analysed customer complaints for the gate and not encountered any of the purported safety or reliability issues that we have alleged. It has said it has performed an internal inventory audit and found its gates to be compliant with all product safety standards as per EN1930.

- Pressure fit
The Lindam Easy Fit Plus Deluxe Safety Gate is a pressure-fit stair gate that you open by squeezing and lifting the handle, which should make it easy to open one-handed. While this may be the case, we've made this stair gate a Don't Buy because it failed a test in a key safety standard, which could mean it puts your child at risk of hurting themselves.
