The Hisense 55UR8STUK is a 55-inch 4K TV that uses Micro RGB backlight technology instead of the OLED or QLED screens found on most high-end models. It’s supposed to give an even more striking range of colour that, in theory, results in a more lifelike picture. So, does this TV live up to that promise? See what we found in our screen, speaker and user experience testing in our full review.

Energy use
How we test energy use
Based on the power usage when being viewed and in standby and the presence and effectiveness of power-saving features such as a light sensor or radio screen blanking. Power usage can vary massively depending on the type of TV. OLED TVs tend to use less power than LED TVs since they don't have backlights.
