LG’s C range OLEDs have impressed us for years, and we’re hoping that doesn’t change with the 55-inch OLED55C44LA from 2024. It has a snazzy new processor designed to make the most of AI, but AI isn’t especially new on TVs, so we’re curious to see if this latest implementation makes any meaningful improvement to the picture and sound. Picture quality tests include broadcast 1080i high-definition TV, Freeview, Freeview HD, viewing angle and the stability of motion in fast action scenes. We also test for 4K Ultra HD and HDR if the TV can support these pictures.
