The 48-inch QE48S90H has one TV square in its sights: the LG OLED48C65LA. It’s a comparably high-end OLED TV, the same size and a similar price, plus these two brands are always vying to have the best models on the market. The QE48S90H could well be the best TV at this size, but it will need to beat LG to do it. Read our review to see how it fared in our tests.

Energy use
How we test energy use
Based on the power usage when being viewed and in standby and the presence and effectiveness of power-saving features such as a light sensor or radio screen blanking. Power usage can vary massively depending on the type of TV. OLED TVs tend to use less power than LED TVs since they don't have backlights.
