If you want an affordable 43-inch television from a name you know, then the Samsung UE43M70H is a shoo-in for your shortlist. It doesn’t have much in the way of snazzy features or market-leading display technology, but the manufacturer still says it will bring bold detail, true colour and an immersive sound experience. How we test smart tv features

Energy use
How we test energy use
Based on the power usage when being viewed and in standby and the presence and effectiveness of power-saving features such as a light sensor or radio screen blanking. Power usage can vary massively depending on the type of TV. OLED TVs tend to use less power than LED TVs since they don't have backlights.
