Other than the Brava 9, this is Sony’s most high-end 2025 TV. It’s got a QD OLED display, which is designed to combine the peerless contrast of OLED displays, with the brighter energised colours from quantum dots. If these features work in perfect harmony, then the 55-inch K-55XR8M2 could be one of the finest TVs of the year. We hope it is. Read our review to see how it fared.
