Open Banking and HomeBank

HomeBank claims it can link your bank account to import data, but in our tests, this did not work for UK banks.

HomeBank is not set up for the Open Banking scheme, which allows you to share current account data via a secure application programming interface (API) without handing over your login details. Firms using Open Banking are regulated, and security protocols protect your data.

Instead, HomeBank allows you to import data through statements or manually input information.
