We surveyed 951 parents to find out what type of baby carrier or sling they owned and what brand it was.

We then asked the owners of the top-five brands how they would rate their sling or carrier in terms of ease of use and comfort, as well as overall quality and value.

We also asked parents to tell us how satisfied they are generally with the particular brand they own, and whether they'd recommend the brand to a friend. From these responses, we've compiled an overall customer score and ranked the best baby sling and carrier brands to help you make your choice.

Baby slings and carriers brands: which are easiest to use and most comfortable?

In addition to brand quality and value, it's important to know what the day-to-day experience of using your sling or carrier will be like. You'll want to make sure that it's easy to get on and off, that your little one will be comfortable in it, and that it doesn't hurt you to wear it. These were some of the common problems parents told us about when we asked about their experience of using a sling or carrier.

To help you avoid these pitfalls, we've collated the star ratings each of the top five brands were awarded for ease of putting on the sling, ease of adjusting it, comfort for the parent and comfort for the baby.
