We tend to recommend 4K TVs over HD sets because they don’t cost much more and display all resolutions better. A handful of HD TVs are still being made, though, and the 40-inch 40A4STUK is the latest 2026 model from Hisense. It shares many of the features of Hisense’s entry-level 4K TVs, so it’s got enough features, but it’s the picture and sound quality where HD TVs tend to struggle.
