How we researched mattress brands
In April 2019 we asked 5,830 Which? members who had bought a mattress in the past 10 years to tell us about their experiences. To work out customer scores for mattress brands, we asked what brand of mattress members owned, whether they were satisfied with it and whether they'd recommend it to a friend.
We also asked about where they had bought their last mattress and how satisfied they were with the experience of buying from the retailer, to help you identify the best mattress shops to buy from. As well as an overall score, we also rated quality of advice offered and how easy it was to arrange delivery.
