John Lewis credit card customer rating

John Lewis has secured a comfortable third place in this year's credit card satisfaction survey and managed to earn Which? Recommended Provider status.

Customers gave it top marks for rewards but also scored the department store's card highly for customer service, ease of applying and online banking.

Unlike other providers, John Lewis only has one credit card available, but it packs a punch with points on spending plus 18 months' 0% on balance transfers and nine months' 0% on purchases.

How we calculate John Lewis' ratings

Credit card providers chosen for our Which? brand reviews are based on the most popular brands searched for online.

Customer scores are based on an online survey of the public, which received 6,741 responses. They are calculated using a combination of overall satisfaction and the likelihood of recommending the provider to a friend.

Star ratings shown for each category are scored independently of the customer score. These surveys are carried out annually and customer scores are updated accordingly. Providers must receive a minimum sample size of 30 respondents to be included in our customer satisfaction tables.
