We've compiled the views of 6,732 people to calculate ratings and scores for B&Q bathrooms and its rivals, including Homebase, Bathstore and Wickes.

The lowest-scoring retailer we rated got an unimpressive customer score of 64%, while the top scorer received 84%. 

When looking at the bathrooms themselves, the gap between top and bottom was even bigger – from 65% to 87%.

As well as awarding overall scores, we asked customers about their experiences of buying a bathroom from B&Q and how they rated the bathroom fixtures and fittings.

Founded in 1969, B&Q has 300 stores nationwide. Use its online 'Find a store' tool to locate your nearest branch and check which services it offers.

B&Q sells a wide range of modern and traditional bathroom suites. The majority of its sinks, toilets and baths are from its own GoodHome and Cooke & Lewis brands. It also stocks a few other brands, such as Ideal Standard and Plumbsure. 

You can choose from a wide range of bathroom furniture, from fitted vanity units to standalone storage. B&Q's range of taps includes big brands, such as Bristan and Armitage Shanks, as well as its own GoodHome-branded models.

B&Q stocks a range of mixer, electric and power showers from a number of brands, including Cooke & Lewis, Mira, Triton and Aqualisa, as well as shower enclosures and components for wet rooms.

As it’s a DIY store, B&Q sells all manner of bathroom fittings and decorative extras, such as paints, mirrors, wallpapers and lighting. It also sells a range of tiles for walls and flooring.
